Bale wrapper
Bale wrappers are used in agriculture for the production of silage. In most cases, they consist of a trailer drawn by a tractor, which is operated either via the tractor PTO or hydraulically. When the previously-pressed bales, which have been formed into a round or square shape, are loaded on the trailer, the baling equipment is used to make a distinction between two bale-wrapping techniques. The first involves movable winding units, which revolve around the bale and hence wrap it up. In the second technique, the angle units are permanently installed and the bale rotates on its own axis and hence wraps itself.
Modern combination units are also able to press the bale first and then wrap it. Bale wrappers are available for both round and square bales. Once they are finished and packed in PVC wrapping, the bales are then collected using bale pincers or a bale fork and stored for fermentation.
